A great time was had by all who participated in a hike at the Mohonk Preserve on Oct 12. It was a beautiful crystal clear fall day. The leaf colors, though not at peak, were beatiful. We had a pleasant hike to the mountain house, stopped for lunch at the picnic lodge, followed by a more strenuous, though very enjoyable, climb through the labyrinth. After a pleasant stroll back to spring farm, we enjoyed food and drinks at the Egg's Nest in High Falls. All in all it was a very enjoyable day. Ed Willett.
